At the risk of sounding like a bitter misogynist (which I assure you, I am not), I am compelled to post on this article I read today. After reading it, I was not enlightened one bit. In fact, I could only think to myself…”No Shit.” The article, printed in the New York Post, discusses a book written by Susan Shapiro Barash, and has some pretty unremarkable statistics about how women can be lying little bitches. For instance, according to the author, over 60% of women cheated on their spouses, and 75% lied about how much money they spent (Well, I guess my ex-wife wasn’t so crazy after all).

Now, I’m not saying men are perfect, they’re a pretty sorry lot as well. The truth is that the only reason men don’t lie as much is because we’re just not very good at it.

Still, even with complete understanding of how they operate, most men are total suckers for all of the tricks women use. We can’t help it, we love women, and it is written on a part of the male DNA to be stupid around them. A classic example of how women lie and men love it is demonstrated by this other link I discovered. Here is a “social-networking” type site where women can post profiles, and “benefactors” (also known as “stupid men”) can do their very best to help the women raise money for bigger boobs. Now, this is a very clear indicator of the low level that our society has stooped to. Women should not have to base their sense of attractiveness or self-worth on their breast size. They should be beyond that, and men should be beyond it too…

…Ah, who am I kidding. I’m a boob man too…and regrettably, I thought it was a fantastic idea. Luckily for me, and unfortunate for some of the ladies, I hate spending money, so some poor girl is just going to have to do without.

This phenomenon proves that even when men KNOW women are lying (we know you’re boobs aren’t really that big) we still can’t resist. In fact, in this particular instance the bigger the lie the better…am I right?
